We are seeking an experienced ColdFusion Developer to support and maintain a legacy enterprise application used for compliance and reporting purposes. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in older, highly customized systems, can quickly troubleshoot problems, and is capable of maintaining system reliability with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Application Support \& Stabilization: Provide timely support to ensure reliability and uninterrupted operation of a business-critical legacy application.
• Maintenance \& Bug Fixing: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve defects within an existing ColdFusion codebase.
• Functional Enhancements: Implement required changes such as updates to reports, workflows, or system functionality, with limited front-end modifications.
• Security \& Risk Review: Identify and address potential security risks, including session handling and sensitive data processing.
• Environment Improvements: Support basic environment and deployment improvements to reduce risk between development, testing, and production systems.
• Code Maintenance \& Cleanup: Maintain existing components while assisting with gradual modernization where practical.

Qualifications

• Proven experience supporting and maintaining ColdFusion applications
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in legacy systems
• Experience working with customized, business-critical applications
• Basic understanding of application security and data protection concepts
• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with non-technical team members
